Four direct PV inputs, so your solar panels wire straight into the battery. Choose this if you are fitting panels at the same time, or replacing an ageing solar inverter.

No PV inputs. It sits alongside the solar inverter you already have, or works on its own with no solar at all, charging from cheap off-peak electricity.
Keeps your existing inverter
Both masters share the same 2.11kWh LFP cells, 800W output and chassis — the Hybrid simply adds the PV inputs. Your installer confirms which suits your property during the survey. Prices differ a little between the two, so the figures below follow whichever unit you pick.

Mini Qube, answered
No. Mini Qube also runs as an AC-coupled battery or portable power source, charging from the grid on off-peak tariffs even without solar panels connected.
0% VAT applies to the whole fully-installed package. Our installation fee is £250 on 2.11kWh and 4.22kWh, and £350 on 6.33kWh, 8.44kWh and 10.55kWh. Because qualifying installations are zero-rated, from 4.22kWh upwards the fully-installed total comes in below the battery-only total — certified installation included, for less overall than buying the battery on its own. On the 2.11kWh master unit the battery is small enough that the installation fee outweighs the VAT relief, so a fully-installed 2.11kWh system costs a little more than the battery alone.
Yes. Every Mini Qube is hard-wired on a dedicated circuit by a certified installer — it's not a plug-in appliance. This is required for full compliance and to keep your warranty valid, and it's usually done in a single visit.
